This project involved the construction of a 15,000 square foot surgical suite on the fifth floor of an existing building. The suite featured four operating rooms, a fully equipped Sterile Processing 
Department (SPD), thirteen Pre-Op/PACU bays, an oxygen storage and supply room on the ground level, and a new generator dedicated to the suite. The scope also included the installation of two new air handling units (AHUs), new boilers, a chiller, and surgical support equipment exclusively for this suite. Construction was carried out within the constraints of the existing building systems and tenants. Additionally, late-stage requirements from the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) had to be incorporated into the final design and construction plan, all while adhering to the designated opening date.
