SKY RIDGE MEDICAL CENTER
Lone Tree, CO
Sky Ridge upgraded their Cath Lab to include overhead bi-plane equipment and change the orientation of the room by 180 degrees. This required complete new Unistrut supports, re-doing the slab on grade and floor duct, new finishes, and new mechanical equipment for the larger GE Cath Lab Equipment. The project was done in a fully functional hospital and was surrounded by the ICU, Emergency Department, and Imaging Departments. Infection Control (ICRA), Life Safety (ISLM), Hot Work Permits, and daily overhead permits required constant coordination with multiple user groups. The project had many unknowns that were uncovered once the project began and we had to adjust design constantly to meet the existing conditions. The project was completed in 1.5 months.
