Denver, CO - Lowry

A 3-story skilled nursing facility on a 4-acre site in the Lowry area of Denver. The project consists of 84 standard patient rooms and 12 observation rooms. Each patient floor has nurse stations, med gas fill rooms, activity rooms, and staff areas. The first floor consists of a full kitchen and dining, physical therapy gym, salon, and administration offices. Among the many construction challenges were the existing conditions from the now defunct Air Force tarmac area which included numerous underground pipes and structures unknown to the design and construction team.

Continuing our culture of innovation, the exterior skin of the building was completely panelized off-site with framing, sheathing, weather barrier, and final finish (brick and stucco) allowing the building to be enclosed much faster than traditional methods.
