Vertix Builders recently topped out two new medical facilities: the Greeley Skilled Nursing Facility and the Dry Creek Medical Office Building.

The Greeley Skilled Nursing Facility, located at 4356 24th Street Road, is a three-story building totaling 52,000 square feet and will provide 54 beds. It will be a recovery center for patients who require professional nursing care and physical therapy following hospital stays. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter. Vertix is working with Veritas, an operator of skilled nursing facilities. The developer of the project is Somerset CPA.

“Skilled nursing facilities are a hybrid of two types of projects, medical and hospitality,” said Ryan Bonner, president of Vertix. “Because there are so many rooms and repetition, it is imperative to get good flow and coordination. In addition, it is a licensed medical facility and requires additional construction details and jurisdictional inspections, mainly CDPS. The combination of these two types of projects requires a more knowledgeable project team to perform the work.”

Vertix is building the 52,000-square-foot medical office building in Centennial.

The new Dry Creek MOB is located at the corner of Dry Creek Road and Havana Street in Centennial and will include 52,000 sf of tenant space, with a 10,000-sf lower-level parking garage. The facility will be four stories, on a 4-acre site, and will be home to a mixture of tenants, including orthopedics and physical therapy. Construction is scheduled for completion in the first quarter. Vertix is working with long-term client Development Solutions Group and has partnered with architect Boulder Associates.
