Vertix Builders announced Thursday morning the start of construction on a new skilled nursing facility in Greeley.

The Greeley Skilled Nursing Facility will be a recovery center for patients released from the hospital who still require professional nursing care and physical therapy for full recovery. The building will be located at 4356 24th Street Road, north of CenterPlace Drive and 44th Avenue.

According to the Vertix release announcing the project, Frederick-based Vertix Builders will work with the Veritas Management Group, a skilled nursing facilities operator. Somerset CPA, out of Indianapolis, is the developer of the project.

“This will be our fourth project with Veritas and it has proven to be a successful relationship for both our companies, as well as the developers we serve,” Ryan Bonner, president of Vertix Builders, said in the release. “We are excited for the people of Greeley who will have a Class A medical facility in their backyard.”

The Greeley Skilled Nursing Facility will consist of three stories totaling 52,000 square feet of space with 54 beds. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2019.
